Simone Benerecetti (1971) è il fondatore di In Your Eyes Ezine. Alla fine del 1999, insieme ad alcuni amici, ha acquisito il dominio iyezine.com dando vita alla testata, che da allora cura e porta avanti occupandosi anche dello sviluppo e della gestione tecnica del sito.

Negli anni ha promosso la musica indipendente e underground attraverso diversi progetti: la netlabel In Your Ears, nata insieme a Massimo Argo, e La Distro, un'esperienza di distribuzione online di dischi, fanzine e materiale proveniente dal vero underground italiano e internazionale. Su iyezine firma soprattutto editoriali, columns e podcast, tra cui la rubrica Frontiere Sonore.

Più che semplice attività editoriale, il suo percorso è il tentativo costante di esplorare nuove forme di espressione artistica e di costruire una comunità di appassionati attorno alla musica che ama.
